Dear God, as I carve my pumpkin help me say this prayer:
Open my mind so that I can learn about you~(cut the top of the pumkin) Luke 10:27
Take away all my sin and forgive me for the wrong that I do~(clean out the inside) Psalms 51:9-12
Open my eyes and the eyes of my heart so YOUR LOVE I will see~(cut eyes shaped like hearts) Psalm 32:8
I am sorry for turning up my nose to all You've given to me~(cut a nose in the shape of a cross) Eph 1:7
Open my ears so YOUR WORD I will hear~(cut ears shaped like the Bible) Prov 22:17/John 8:47
Open my mouth so that I can tell others YOUR NEAR~(cut the mouth in the shape of a fish) Luke 16:20
Let YOUR LIGHT shine in all I say and do~(place a candle inside and light it) Matthew 5:15
